Band booster treasurer accused of stealing $10,000-plus
THE GOSHEN NEWS
The treasurer of the Goshen High School Band Boosters arrested Monday on suspicion of theft reportedly took thousands of dollars from the band booster’s account. According to a press release from the Goshen Police Department, officers were notified Sunday of a theft of money from the Goshen Band Boosters account at Interra Credit Union. The report led to the investigation of boosters treasurer Vincenta Linda Barrios, 33, 1102 W. Pike St., who is accused of taking in excess of $10,000 from the booster’s account.

Bottom line this has affected some of the VTX Café members kids (Kart-Racer10 is one) … so it is a great opportunity to show how our community of X-riders can help these kids.
From WanderingBear: While I am aware that they're not all related to members, I was appalled someone would steal money they needed to go to a big competition. We have the ability to help some of our members, their children and the entire school band. I feel these children worked darn hard to put this much money together. If you have a few spare bucks would you please join me and the others donating in helping get these kids to their event. I'd like them to have the chance to succeed in their endeavor. Give up coffee for 1 day and send them the money. If everyone did this they'd have money left for next band as well. This is a good thing guys and girls. Let's show them what a group of bikers can do to set the books straight.

I was able to talk to alot of X riders that were in my parking lot!! (as well as others). Got there around 10am...walked to the vendors...baked in the sun....When it came to starting the ride from out lot, it was kinda chaotic...but no accidents!! Rode through DC. I have seen video of the Army soldier on the bridge in full dress, but he wasn't there... [Read More]
